I took an After Effects tutorial on how to make a neon sign. I chose to make Mr. Sparkle from The Simpsons. I first recreated the logo in Illustrator and got it ready to import into After Effects.

This is what the imported vector file looks like with motion blurs, noise and light distortion to give it that neon glow. Below I will have the final product with two versions. One version is just a traditional neon sign and the other is a non traditional sign with more dynamic movement.
